Admissions Requirements & Checklist
Requirements, Class of 2010–2013
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related Science (if not in Nursing, must have additional 15 semester hours of biophysical sciences above nursing degree
- A minimum of one year experience beyond orientation in an adult acute care area as a Registered Nurse within the last three years
- ACLS certified
- GRE (no minimum score requirement, but average of accepted students for the last three years is a combined score of 1000)
- One semester of General Chemistry
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and cumulative science degree of 3.0
Checklist
- Complete Application
- $50 Application Fee (made out to MTSA)
- Personal Letter stating why you would like to attend MTSA and become a CRNA
- 5 Reference Forms
- Official Transcripts from all higher education institutions attended
- Official GRE score
- Copy of current Nursing License (with expiration date)
- Copy of current ACLS certification
